Al Kaif was born into an ordinary family in Shibchar Upazila of Madaripur. Around him was a simple life, simple people, and ordinary dreams. But inside Kaif, there was a different kind of fire. From a young age, he understood that everyone lives life, but not everyone can create their own identity.
As a child, he did not talk much.
His friends spent time playing in the fields, hanging out, and wasting time. Kaif stayed with them too, laughed with them, and walked around with them, but inside his mind, something different was always running. He used to think,
“One day, I will do something that will make people know me by my name.”
Back then, he did not have a powerful laptop, an expensive setup, or even a stable internet connection all the time. His journey started only with a simple mobile phone and strong determination. Night after night, he watched YouTube tutorials and tried to learn design.
At first, he understood almost nothing.
Creating a single poster used to take him hours. Sometimes he did not like the fonts, sometimes the colors felt wrong, and sometimes he deleted his own work and started all over again. But there was one thing he never gave up on — trying.
Many people told him,
“What’s the point of doing all this design stuff?”
Some said,
“These things have no value in real life.”
Others simply laughed.
Kaif never argued with anyone. Deep inside, he only said one thing to himself:
“Time will answer everything one day.”
Slowly, his work began to change. The messy designs of the past started turning into creative ideas. He was not just making posters anymore he was trying to put emotions into every design.
People started saying,
“There’s a different vibe in this design.”
Then came small opportunities. Someone asked him to create Facebook posts, someone wanted political banners, someone needed a business logo, and others requested video editing. Even though the work was small, Kaif never considered it unimportant. Because he knew that big identities are built from small beginnings.
While working continuously, he learned something valuable:
Talent is important, but consistency is even more important.
There were many nights when everyone else was asleep, and Kaif sat alone staring at his mobile screen, creating new designs. His eyes turned red, his head hurt, but he never stopped. Because inside him, there was a fear:
“If I stop now, maybe I’ll never be able to start again.”
Gradually, his identity started growing.
People no longer knew him only as “Kaif” they began to know him as “Designer Kaif.” His posters started getting shared, and many people even tried to copy his design style.
But even in success, he never forgot his roots.
He still remembers the small roads of Shibchar, the evening gatherings, the rainy days, and those moments when nobody believed in him. Because he knows that if a person forgets the days of struggle, they also forget their true identity.
Kaif had a dream.
He did not want to become successful only for himself. He wanted to achieve something so meaningful that his family could proudly say,
“That boy belongs to us.”
Eventually, he realized something important:
The hardest battle in life is not against the outside world… it is against the fear and hopelessness inside ourselves.
There are nights when everything feels meaningless. There are days when it feels like all the hard work has no value. But even then, he stands up again.
Because people who dream do not give up easily.
One of the most beautiful things about Kaif is that he is still learning. He never thinks of himself as complete. Every day, he tries to become a better version of himself than he was yesterday.
People may now praise his work, but they do not know how many sleepless nights, silent struggles, disappointments, and sacrifices are hidden behind this journey.
Al Kaif knows that his road is still long.
Maybe more failures will come. Maybe more pain will come.
But he also knows something else:
A boy who learned to dream big from a small place like Shibchar cannot be stopped so easily.
Because some people are not born different…
Struggle makes them different.
And Al Kaif is one of those people. ✨
